Sous Chef

Requirements:

• Min 21 years old
• Ability to speaking, writing and reading in English >7
• Experience min. 2 years for the same position
• Available to traveling around the world up to 60%
• Education SMU + experience, Food and Beverage Academy, Hotel and Tourism Academic
• Willing to work at sea (Cruise Ship) for 6 month or more
• Skill and knowledge = intermediate and up
• Knowledgeable western food
• Fine dining room experience/hotel/restaurant
• Shipboard experienced (recommended)
• Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Directs,coaches,support,supervises and evaluates (in conjunction with the executive chef/chef) the performance of all direct reports
• Each sous chef will be assigned schedule an area of the galleys by the Executive chef/chef and will be held accountable for the expected result.
• Works very closely with the asst food manager in order to accomplish tasks related to equipment control and maintenance,as well as USPH rule and regulations training and reinforcement.
• Work with the chef to establish work schedules for all cook.
• Must be knowledgeable about the established quality standards and company policies in order to supervise his/her staff.
• Attends meeting,training activities,courses and all other work-related activities as required.
