Purchasing Manager-Indirect Material



Responsibilities:


  • Report to Sr. Purchasing Manager of company and will handle needs of both Danone Indonesia and Danone Dairy Indonesia
  • Review and establish purchasing strategy with mid/ long term plan in Indirect/ Non production material purchase
  • Continuously drive business benefits in term of costs saving, operating capital improvements and supplier qualification with its rationalization
  • Ensure spent savings are achieved year on year especially through taking part in CIP project especially in area of maintenance spent (MRO)
  • Lead supplier selection process, negotiation, and implementation of contract and management thereof
  • Maintaining suppliers data and KPIs through constant review and monitoring of supplier performance to ensure that quality goods and services are delivered on time and on budget
  • Constant monitoring of market trends to ensure that prices of goods and service remain competitive at all times
  • Standardize, streamline, and reduce vendor and material database
  • Optimize workflow, procedures, and internal information flow system through maximum utilization of SAP system and resources
  • Develop direct report capabilities to ensure adequate talents in purchasing department

Requirements:



  • Bachelor degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related field
  • Have a minimum 2-3 years experience in similar position in multinational company (fast moving consumer goods industry is preferable)
  • In depth understanding of principles and concept of purchasing
  • Experience in Indirect Material or non production material purchase, MRO will be advantage
  • Strong negotiation skills and familiar with power negotiation skills
  • Excellent English communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Mature, independent and creatively resourceful
  • Able to work under pressure, flexible, and fast adapt to changes
  • Good analytical thinks, problem solving skills with excellent computer literate
  • Team Player and developing team member oriented
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
