A leading Pharmaceutical Company based in North Sydney currently require a Management Accountant to cover a 6 month Financial project.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

*Improve current Activity Based Costing model
*Implement reporting which reviews profitability
*To liaise with the Finance and Operations Departments
*Weekly and monthly budgeting
*Weekly and monthly forecasting
The ideal candidate will have several years experience within a similar role within the FMCG industry. Strong interpersonal skills are required. In addition applicants should be computer literate (strong Excel skills) and be confident to present recommendations to senior management.

Primary responsibilities will include:

* Operational reporting and variance analysis.
* Weekly and monthly budgeting
* Weekly and monthly forecasting
* Continual process improvement projects including development of the ERP system.
* Inventory/Cost Accounting


Skills/ experience required

* Inventory Accounting.
* Experience in a Manufacturing company or similar environment.
* US GAAP reporting.
* Hands on Management Accounting

Applicants should ideally be CA/CPA qualified with management accounting experience. Commercial awareness, outstanding Excel skills and ability to communicate and influence in an often challenging and demanding environment are absolutely essential.
