Cost Control


Responsibilities:

KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  •  Ensure ITM project control systems are followed and complied with.
  •  Provide sound project cost control support to ensuring projects are completed within budget.
  •  Provide budget vs actual spending analysis and put into regular reporting.
  •  Control project expenses and act on potential or actual risks to make sure cost expense is comply to approved budget
  •  Produce project cost to completion estimates and regularly monitor project costs against budget.
  •  Provide summary of yearly project budget draft.
  •  Impliment proper systems to monitor and control the project delivery against the agreed budget
  •  Impliment proper systems to monitor and control incoming invoices against the valid contract agreement with vendor.
  •  Implement effective communications as required for project delivery in term of project budget and cost control.
  •  Implement agreed scope management proceedures and processes.
  •  Coordinate the implementation of “Best Practice” principles and techniques in a multi discipline engineering project to deliver required outcomes.
  •  As a member of the project team prepare project budgeting and scope of work documents for tendering.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others), Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): experiance in measuring monitoring and reporting of all projects, experiance in project budget draft- control and analysis budget spending, working experience in mining industry environment, experience in the area of bulk materials handling would be an advantage, have good working experience in project finance controller, Suitable balance between finance -technical and managerial skills.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Balikpapan.
  • Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators.
