Tax Specialist

Job Function:

• Responsible for all VAT matters including reconciliation and VAT returns preparation;
• Administer, coordinate, undertake the preparation and calculation of monthly/annual tax preparation and submission (PPh 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 4(2));
• Follow up with Tax Authority for tax refund and other tax matters;
• Assist Tax Manager in performing all duties assigned by Management;
• Assist Tax Manager in solving all tax matters of all departments such as provide oral and written tax advice, join the meeting, search for tax regulations, etc;
• Liaise with Tax Authority and Tax Consultant in all HCPT tax matters such as tax audit, tax objections, tax overbooking, VAT refund, etc;
• Liaise with Vendors and Customers for all tax related matters such as discuss with Vendors regarding the WHT rate, tax treaty, etc;
• Support Tax Specialist in managing of his/her jobs such as reviewing the WHT payables calculations and reconciliation before being input by Tax Specialist; train the Tax Specialist, etc.


Requirements:

1) Education:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting

2) Related Experience:

• Minimum 4 years experiences in Tax/Accounting
• Multinational experience and or Public Accountant

3) Human Competency:

• Communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Initiative
• Have systematical mind-set and problem solving skills
• Self motivated, team work oriented, mature and able to work under tight schedules

4)Technical Competency:

• Excellent English proficiency
• Literate with Microsoft Office and Oracle
• Knowledge on cellular technology is a plus
• Good practical knowledge in Taxation (VAT, Withholding Tax art. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 4(2)) and familiar with tax audit
