Introduction / Role Description
The Sales Planner has a key role in the media sales business unit in developing effective advertising & marketing programs aimed at solving marketing problems for Yahoo!'s clients. The Sales Planner will actively participate in and coordinate pre-sales efforts, including those of collaborating with the sales managers on proposal development, developing media plans and offering creative thinking and insights to aid the process. The sales planner will work on both display and search advertising solutions.

Responsibilities:
The Sales Planner will retrieve available inventory and create solutions for clients. Also, the creation of sales packages will be performed by the Sales Planner. The ‘Sales Planner’ will also work on the role of editing and writing the Titles & Descriptions for search campaigns.
In conjunction with the Sales Strategist the Sales Planner will communicate and help enforce all of Yahoo!’s policies including; ad specifications, bundling requirements, pricing guidelines, turnaround times and general advertising terms and conditions.
On rare occasions travel to client location as needed.
Requirements:
The ideal sales planner comes with 3 - 4 years of media planning experience either as part of an advertising agency or that of a media publisher. However the lack of such experience is not a criteria for elimination and those who can demonstrate good analytical skills and creative thinking can be considered.
Those with Online media planning experience will carry additional weightage.
Competencies
Candidate must have good analytical skills as well as communication skills(oral and written presentation skills). The ability to learn and operate internal computer programs and systems (non-technical) will be required.
Candidate must be self-motivated but able to work with a team. Candidate must be able to apply creative thinking and good problem solving skills. Candidate must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn, adapt and operate with a dynamic and fast moving work environment. Candidate must be client centric in their approach to their business but capable of communicating and meeting Yahoo!’s business requirements.

Yahoo! is looking for highly motivated Language Lead to join the fast-growing Localization team at Yahoo! in Singapore. Language Leads are linguists who will define and maintain the language style and the overall tone of the respective language across Yahoo! products. It is essential that the Language Lead has an ‘emotional’ connection with the language they support and how the language may be used across multiple user segments, including youth. The Language Lead will work closely with the production teams and vendors to deliver high quality content for the respective market.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain terminology glossaries and language style guides
* Be the focal contact for language issues internally and with vendors
* Perform selected editorial review of core text prior to translation to ensure content is ready for translation
* Perform linguistic software QA as needed to provide feedback to vendor
* Help develop guidelines for measuring linguistic quality of vendors, working closely with the Localization Project Manager
* Provide selected translations to deliver localized site content and products on time and with high linguistic quality
* Perform market customizations as needed per requirements and guidelines received
* Proactively communicate with necessary cross-functional team members when needed to clarify project expectations (schedules, issues, status, bugs, etc.)
* Own linguistic bugs to the respective language and coordinate closely with the Localization Project Manager and the vendor to resolve issues.
* Help estimate and scope translation or localization efforts as needed
* Work effectively with US-based core business unit teams on localization tasks related to specific projects
* Recommend improvements to product localizability from a translator’s perspective
* Keep current with subject matter terminology and modern language usage.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in a full time translation service provider role
* Linguistic education in the selected language desired or relevant work experience
* Experience with localization of internet applications
* Strong English communication skills, both in writing and in speaking
* Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker able to read, write and speak the language fluently
* Good social and communicative abilities
* Understanding of the translation industry and its technologies, including industry practices and trends
* Ability to work on a team and independently
* Self-starting, proactive, charismatic attitude
* Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and multitask
* A love of technology, software and the Web
* Technically savvy and project management capabilities
