Picamon is seeking a Web Developer to contribute to the design and development of our new software: a consumer facing web presence. We work with short milestones and iterative improvements. A successful candidate will have demonstrable success creating testable, clear, reliable code in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. We are seeking someone who is exceptionally skilled with web technology and has a good sense for how to make users happy. You will be working on front- and back end on our website.

1. Web Developer (Flash/My SQL)

Responsibilities:

* Prospective candidate must demonstrate strong MySQL design aptitude and knowledge of Server side Flash communication.
* Ability to create and maintain interactive applications that involve PHP and MySQL
* Develop and maintain code to support our websites in the following languages: PHP, Ajax, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL


Requirements:

* Having minimum 2 years of Flash experience, PHP experience, MySQL experience, with HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and DOM
* Experience in web based product development lifecycle
* Experience with Linux and Apache
* Experience in Ruby on Rails or Python
* Experience with AJAX technologies like JSON, XML-RPC, etc
* Confident English, written and verbal communication skills
* Able to help solve a wide variety of technically challenging problems (sometimes even unusual ones) as part of creating original products
* A strong team contributor able to help devise solutions and produce quality software with pthers
* Able to clearly communicate and partner ith production and design to implement the design vision
* Preferred language(s): English.

2. Senior Web Developer (PHP/MySQL)

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain MySQL databases, ability to perform queries and produce basic reports using pre-defined templates
* Ability to create and maintain interactive applications that involve PHP and MySQL, but also include email, on-the-fly PDF generation
* Develop and maintain code to support our websites in the following languages: PHP, Ajax, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL, Actionscript (helpful but not required)
* Ability to create and maintain the HTML and dynamic pages, work with established templates and create new ones as needed
* Regularly check and maintain quality of current programs and web pages, ensuring minimal errors or failures

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of PHP experience, MySQL experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and DOM
* Basic understanding of Flash, Actionscript
* Experience web-based product development lifecycle
* Understanding of MVC concepts
* Experience working with mid/large scale mission critical e-commerce applications
* Experience with Linux and Apache
* Familiarity with Open Source tool sets, ability to customize them to suit our needs
* Experience in Ruby on Rails or Python
* Experience with AJAX technologies like JSON, XML-RPC, etc
* Confident in English, written and verbal communication skills
* Able to help solve a wide-variety of technically challenging problems (sometimes unusual ones) as part of creating original products
* A strong team contributor, able to help devise solutions and produce quality software with others
* Able to clearly communication and partner with production and design to implement the design vision
