Country Representative in Indonesia.
Specific Duties Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* -Effectively manage the Indonesian delegation of the Irish Red Cross under the overall direction of the Head of the International Department, Dublin.
* -Effectively manage the planning requirements of the delegation to include all activities.
* -Successfully manage the human resource component of the delegation to include all aspects of recruitment, training, placement, administration and on-going development of staff potentials in a uniform and equable manner
Personal Specifications:
General
* -Good mental and physical health - required
Qualifications
* -Basic Delegates Training Course or Equivalent - required
* -Baccalaureate Degree in a Relevant Area of Study - required
Experience
* -Experience of managing and supporting staff - required
* -Experience of working for the Red Cross/Crescent - preferred
* -Experience of working for international humanitarian organizations in a developing country - required
* -Experience managing an inventory of diverse and complex recovery/rehabilitation programmes - required
* -Experience in strategic/tactical planning of programmes - required
* -Experience in working within a complex aggregations of humanitarian organizations both Red Cross and/or others,e.g. UN, IOs, INGOs, NGOs - required
Skills
* -Skilled in human resource management to include staff recruitment, subjective/objective staff support mechanisms,feedback/recognition/development & training techniques - required
* -Good skills in computers, particularly word processing, e-mail and spread sheets - required
* -Knowledge of and ease in interpretating/promoting the principles of the Red Cross Movement and its various components Valid international driving license (manual gears) - required Language – Intermediate Indonesian (Berliz level 6) - preferred
