A. ACCOUNTING MANAGER

This position report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with members of various departments throughout the Company. The highest priority will be the successful oversight of the day-to-day accounting and take an active role in the month end close process, as well as providing support to Business Lines and Reporting Accounts Managers to ensure BL/Reporting objectives and timescales are achieved whilst complying with the F&A principles and standard operating procedure.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Review and assure accuracy of the accounting records.
2. Manage and direct the activities of accounting staff members.
3. Perform basic maintenance of general ledger accounting system.
4. Responsible for all banking arrangement and cash management.
5. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of F&A Standards Operating Procedure (SOP).

B. JV ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Reporting functionally to the Finance Manager – Mining. This role will manage the accounting function for a Joint Venture company which is set for rapid growth and will become a major business in its own right. Significant exposure to commercial and administerial aspects of the coal mining industry in Indonesia would be an advantage but is not essential. This is a Jakarta based role.

Role responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for all JV F&A requirements including: Review of joint operation / company set up, bank accounts, systems, taxation.
2. Initially assist to build and then manage a small accounts team for the JV – including some site personnel.
3. Responsible for meeting reporting requirements of the JV stakeholders.
4. Responsible for ensuring tax compliance and efficient tax planning of the JV. (Working in conjunction with the tax department and other functions).
5. Manage joint venture/ company administration activities.
6. Manage day to day F&A operations for the JV – including reporting, analysis, forecasts, cash flow management, balance sheet management.
7. Understanding of the project risks and opportunities and be pro-active in risks mitigation and opportunity identification.
8. Research and ad hoc information as required by the JV and senior Management.
Other requirements:
Will require travel to project sites within Indonesia from time to time for short durations.
Team Oriented, Self motivated and ability to prioritise work.
Must have strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in organization.

  • Design, develop and implement a Feed formulation tool / software, to be up dated on time to reflect latest formulation approach in the market.
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and control the quality assurance activities, which include incoming material QA, physical QA, Microbiological QA and Visual QA to ensure that production process is maintained in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Identify and analyze production problem in order to provide the manufacturing management with corrective action plans or solutions in conjunction with continues improvement strategy (i.e. suitable methodology or equipments to be adopted).
  • From time to time conduct feed formulation exercise by using our feed ration products (from both corn and cassava), to ensure that we are always up dated with the demand and requirement of our customers (Feed Mills).
  • Assist operations in meeting performance objectives by providing technical support and eguidanceon quality and improvement projects.
  • Maintain QA facilities including the analytical tolls (both in the Laboratory and on the production floor, methods and equipment are always in good condition and calibrated, to ensure a correct and accurate QA information to operations.

Requirements :
  • Male, S1 or S2 degree from reputable local or overseas university, majoring in Agriculture (Industrial Engineering Food technology), Veterinary or Animal Husbandry with GPA> 3,0
  • Age 28 - 32 years
  • Has minimum experience of 2 – 3 years in same position (Feed Industry)
  • Has expertise in formulating feed (animal nutrition)
  • Has expertise in all aspect of corn grain quality (microbiology and physically) and the impact on finished food and feed products.
  • Familiar with any area manufacturing, statistical process control tools and problem solving methods.
  • Understand ISO Standard, HACCP
