GENERAL MANAGER - OPERATIONS(Job Code : GM/GMOP-IND/0108)

Responsibilities:

• This is a newly created position and reports to the Managing Director. The selected incumbent will manage & oversee all the operations for the various coal mines to meet operating plan & budget. He will be responsible for achievement of various objectives and goals in the areas of production, productivity, man management, technology & quality upgradation, MIS etc for the plant. He will ensure technical competence to meet the needs of the business and apply innovative technologies, concepts and implement new processes for achieving lowest manufacturing cost consistent with required product quality.
• The position is based in Jakarta and extensive travel to the coal mines in South & Central Kalimantan will be required.

Requirements:

• An Engineering Degree with minimum 10 years relevant operational experience in Coal Mining / Civil Engineering / Heavy Earth Moving / Excavation / Bulk Logistics Movement industries.
• Possess strong interpersonal, management skills and good leadership qualities.
• Hands on technical expertise in the same or similar processing industries is a pre-requisite.
• Ability to read and write Bahasa Indonesia will be an added advantage.
