Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting strategic direction of suppliers to support brand business objectives and product expectations, including support of material selection of high quality fabrics commercialized into garments.
• Establishes and manages productive supplier relationships, including the timely resolution of capacity and production issues, final price negotiations and long-term sourcing objectives.

• Responsible for key communications of critical information regarding product and development status to appropriate home office developers, project managers and Country Manager

• Ensures internal and external teams are trained on necessary processes, procedures and techniques to achieve on time buy ready/product commercialization and delivery of all samples, strategic management of capacity, and on time delivery.
• Oversees the entire process from product development to customer satisfaction, including quality claims, documentation (export docs, ledger claims, invoicing) and resolution of vendor issues such as payments.
• Contributes to setting country strategies including overall capacity and capabilities by providing accurate data regarding factory capacity, capabilities, lead time, ex-factory dates or other data as required, to analyze factory performance, assess supplier-product match, and make allocation recommendations.
• Identifies product needs not met by source base, investigates new sources and starts-up new factories as needed.
• Provides direction and support for all product developments to assure proper execution of all prototypes, SMS samples and confirmation samples managed by merchandising team; accountable for all development KPI’s.
• Responsible for all styles meeting finalization timelines, including material development completion and material/garment testing and color approvals.
• Work with team and factories to identify issues upfront that may prevent product objectives from being met, including cost targets, quality standards in construction and materials, ease of manufacture, etc.
• Ensures prototypes address desired function, cosmetics, cost, market appeal and manufacturability, including checking for quality, size, fit and adherence to standards.
• Provides direction and support for capacity planning and order management to ensure production performance. Proactively addresses potential delivery problems with supplier management, both factories and T2 suppliers. Drives for effective problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Works closely with Technical Services to ensure smooth and timely transitions from development to production start to shipment.


Knowledge skills and abilities :

• Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Clothing Technology, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the Apparel/Textiles field.
• At least ten years progressive work experience in related field, preferable in multinational company.
• Polished communication and interpersonal skills, and able to give professional presentations.
• Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of textile business.
• Fluent English (verbal and written), other languages are welcome.
• Good IT including Excel and Word. Comfortable with learning internal Product Data Management systems

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

MAIN PURPOSE:

This position will report to Business Unit controller and be responsible to perform all accounting aspect for Business Unit financial reporting, setting standards and guidelines for the accounting/reporting function, coordinating with tax department for local tax compliance, liaising and collaborating with commercial team and other department and management of 3 direct staff

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Ensure integrity of financial reporting to protect company assets and maximize profits
• Ensure all accounts comply with current GAAP (US and Indonesian) and Cargill Accounting Policies. Stay abreast of current industry practice Fiduciary duties.
• Be active/integral part of the BU's operation
• Ensure reconciliation of balance sheet and PNL to comply with Cargill Policy on monthly reconciliation
• Identify and implement process and control improvements impacting all levels of BU and Indonesia financial reporting environment
• Review, recommend and keep current, accounting policies and standard operating procedures
• A member of the planning and implementation of financial data consolidation for BU
• Assist controller in providing resource for business
• Assist controller in the COSO champion role and assure compliance to all corporate directives
• Manage forex risk, payment control, compliance to corporate guidelines, local tax, local GAAP
• Work with controller to ensure that financial reporting delivered is accurate and informative


EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE :

• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience
• Working experience in public accounting firm (2-3 years) is an advantage
• Meets or exceeds expectation for all behavioral areas in PMP
• Ability to deal with conflict constructively.
• English Language Proficiency (written and verbal)
• Interpersonal skills
• Strong people development skills
• Ability to integrate team with various background

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILLS :

• Experience in accounting both US and Indonesian GAAP
• Basic Indonesian tax knowledge
• Experience in leading process improvements
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadline
• Willing to have frequent traveling and or temporarily based at remote site.
