BUSINESS ANALYST – MINING

Education :

S1 (BS) Degree in Engineering (Mining Engineering degree are preferred, but not essential) from a recognized university. Overseas MBA or equivalent Master Degree would be an advantage.


Experience :

Applicants should have :

• Minimum 5 years business analyst or related work experience, preferably within mining industry.
• Accountable for special projects.
• First class English skills, in particular written English must be of a very high standard.

Responsibilities :

1. Mining Market analysis. (eg size, growth, threats, competitors, external threats, cost drivers, innovation, strategy) :
• Develop clear/accurate and up to date reports on the mining industry the Company operates in. Reports to identify all Key indicators that could impact out business key indicators.

2. Benchmarking :
• Develop benchmarking of the Company performance against peers and competitors within mining industry.

3. Business Improvement :
• Assist Mining Business line GM – implement identified business improvement initiatives.

4. Investment assessment and modeling
• Develop detailed financial models, including sensitivity analysis on potential mining investments.
• Assist with acquisition reviews, due diligence on M&A opportunities.

Other requirements :

• Preferable to have working experience in international companies.
• May require travel to project sites within Indonesia from time to time for short durations.
• First class English skills, in particular written English must be of a very high standard.
• Team oriented, self motivated and ability to priorities work.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in organization.
• A ‘can do’ attitude, with a hands on approach.

Job Responsibility :

• Conduct programming and documentation so that the code is effective, reusable, and readable.
• Take ownership with respect to the quality of the work, i.e. well-tested codes, technical documentation, efficiency of the code, and on time project execution.
• Develop applications in accordance with System Development Lifecycle.

Requirement :

• Have a good skill in C/C++ is a must with minimum 2 years experience.
• Design and develop appllications and plug-ins for smart cards
• Have a good knowledge with GCC, & Linux would be an advantage.
• Have a good knowledge in embedded systems development using C/C++ would be an advantage.
• Have a good knowledge of ISO 8583 would be an advantage.
• Have a good analytical and logic thinking.
• Self-driven, able to work independently, and as team player.
• Possess positive work attitude, proactive, and initiative.

General Requirement :

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or Computer Science.
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English would be an advantage.
