We are a Malaysian company on the hunt for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to be part of our IT Department in Indonesia.
SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST (INDONESIA)
(Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities of the Senior Systems Analyst include:
1. Review and understand the requirements provided and to translate these requirements into technical solutions.
2. Collaborate with programmers, technical team members, and/or project management to communicate the requirements of the project.
3. Research, define requirements and undertake the maintenance of current & new technologies, applications & systems, and other business needs.
4. Manage the testing of developed systems to ensure achievement of high quality and standards.
5. Write Programmes using proper programming techniques and in accordance with established procedures.
6. Identify problems, correcting them, coordinating with the relevant application vendors to solve problems and recommending the best solutions to the Management.
7. Develop policies and procedures and participate in the planning and testing of the company’s disaster recovery plan for computing services.
8. Engage in all processed relating to the testing of computer systems, development of user and operational documentation etc.
9. Provide the relevant training to users (on the developed systems).
10. Maintain current documentation for existing applications and develop new documentation for new applications.
11. Provide timely status reports of assigned projects.
12. Perform planning and budget management for the system.
13. Maintenance, configuration and performing upgrades to department database servers, database engine, and web applications.
Requirements:
Applicants are preferably graduates holding a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of three (3) years systems administration experience. Must haves include knowledge of database/file server design and administration. Knowledge of other skills would be a plus factor, including skills in PC/file server/application server implementation and in functional and system design.
* We seek for candidates who have excellent communications skills, with the ability to conceptualise and think creatively. Skills-wise, candidates should possess at least 2 years experience in a similar analysis role ideally in a web environment and you should also have a thorough grounding in requirements management tools, techniques and methodologies. The selected candidate is required to be on call 24-7.
