Senior Finance Analyst (Job ID:62616)
(Selangor - Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

* This position is first point of contact for sales and marketing teams on all finance related issues / customer’s issues on financial aspects. Position calls for working closely with country GMs and sales/marketing teams on commercial/financial issues and help resolving them. Job responsibilities include:


* Administer Ally Marketing Funds viz work with sales account teams and pricing orgn in creating accruals in OID system
* Manage the customer marketing funds from a finance perspective. Review and approve Credit Notes to customers towards rebates and marketing.
* Setting up the framework and details for all customer incentive/sell thru schemes by working closely with legal, sales teams and/or customers.
* Administer Advertisement and Promotion budget viz work with marketing team and sales account teams in booking accrual on A&P commitments. Review and approve purchase requisition and credit notes for various marketing programs.
* Administer department budget, work with sales and marketing team on cost control measures.
* Work closely with the credit and sales account teams in credit offsets with AR.
* GL reconciliations for customer reserve accounts and A&P accrual accounts.
* Review of customer reserves (marketing funds), A&P accruals, SAB101/Revenue recognition issues with HGM HQ.
* Train the sales teams on methodology / process on marketing funds usage and other key policies like gift policy, preferential payment issues. Create awareness on practices that could lead to potential PE issues.
* Drive process improvements in credit note and internal order procedures.


Requirements:

* Professional qualification in finance/accounting or Master Degree in finance/accounting with 8 years of experience covering all aspects of finance & accounting.
* Should possess a strong financial background in order to deal with business / commercial issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Should be dynamic and result oriented.
* Knowledge on financial systems like Oracle/Hyperion.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore or Indonesia.
