Candidates for Boiler System Engineer (BSE) position should have a university degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent discipline with in depth knowledge of boiler standards such as ASME, thermodynamic, mass and heat balance, combustion process, fluid mechanic and related standards. Have extensive and on hand experiences in large capacity coal fired steam generators O & M. Professional Engineering Registration or progress towards registration is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Provide an overview of the key accountabilities and responsibilities.
* Establish and supervise a competent and well organised electrical maintenance team, consisting primarily of contract technicians provided through a service contractor.
* Lead the electrical team’s activities in implementation of the Tangguh Common Maintenance Strategy (CMS), including assistance with setting up Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and populating database with required information for plant electrical & related equipment.
* Integrate and work seamlessly with the Commissioning & Start-Up team to conduct all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to all electrical and control systems and equipment in conjunction with the electrical TAs.
* Responsible for operation of a modern electrical workshop to be used as repair facilities by skilled personnel for the Tangguh Offshore Gas Production Facilities, Pipelines, and Onshore LNG Facilities
* Implement electrical maintenance plans, including planned maintenance programmes, for all equipment and systems related to electrical.
* Coordinate the implementation of maintenance programs for Power Generation, HV/LV electrical system and all other Sub-systems, including regular Preventative Maintenance and trouble-shooting.
* Maintain Master Equipment Files, including equipment data and history so that equipment maintenance needs can be predicted; economic analysis and decisions can be made regarding re-equipment policies, purchasing, and spare parts inventories; equipment downtime can be minimized; and recurring problems can be referred to engineering for solutions.
* Keep proper records and contribute as required to Monthly Reports relative to the electrical discipline and the activities that were carried out during each month.
* Perform maintenance throubleshooting & failure anaysis with the goal of minimising recurring problems with electrical.
* Provide information and support to technical personnel as required for plant improvements, incident investigations, and other studies related to electrical.
* Conduct performance evaluation, provide feedback, and prepare performance reports for subordinates as required.

Essential Skills/Experience/Competencies

* What skills/experience must a candidate have to be seriously considered for short listing?
* Minimum Bachelor degree in an Electrical from accredited University/College, or the equivalent experience, including maintenance, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Electrical system in petroleum and petrochemical industries.
* 5-10 years experience in Operations & Maintenance of similar facilities included troubleshooting, 3-5 of which in supervision. Experience or fimilar with Electrical Power Generation system, Electric Motor, HV/LV Switchgear, MCC, HV/LV Transformer, VSD, AC/DC UPS, Cathodic Protection, Lightning & Grounding, HVAC, Lighting, Power Distribution Panel, Annunciator, field electrical devices calibration & implementation, and HV/LV switching philosophy.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Common Maintenance Strategy processes
* Willing to work in remote locations
* Must also have strong leadership skills, have a proactive attitude, and be interested in finding solutions and making improvements for the benefit of Tangguh operations.
* Understand Safe System of Work in Oil/Gas or Petrochemical Industry. Offshore Safe System of Work knowledge and experience will be an advantage.
* Propose yearly budget required for Electrical maintenance
* Desired Skills/Experience/Core Competencies
