Assistant Dock Master
Responsibilities:
You will manage a group of workers to assist in the arrival, departure, docking and movement of vessels in the yard.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Marine / Mach Eng. / Naval Architect.
* Candidate w/o tertiary education but with relevant trade experience will be considered
* Min. 2 years relevant experience
* Able to work under pressure
Supervisors (Carpentry / Electrical / Mechanical / Piping / Staging)
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to coordinate all related activities for shipbuilding and repair projects in the yard. You are also required to liaise with contractors, inspectors and ship owners.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Mech / Marine Eng/ Shipbuilding and Offshore Eng.
* Min. 2 years shipyard piping experience
* Able to plan and deliver work effectively within the project schedule cost
* Possess strong supervisory & communication skills
Project Superintendents / Project Engineers (Shipbuilding and Shiprepair)
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the management of shipbuilding projects. Your task would be to lead a team and complete the assigned project timely, safely and within the budget allocated. Candidate must possess a strong sense of commitment.
Requirements:
* Degree Or Diploma in Marine Eng / Marine & Offshore Technology / Naval Architecture
* Candidate without tertiary education but with a strong shipyard experience will be considered.
* Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in Marine industry.
* Strong Leadership quality, interpersonal skill and able to work under pressure
Department Head (QC)
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the QC dept, which includes planning and conducting system tests and harbour and sea trials for shipbuilding and shiprepair QC related activity. You will also liaise with shipowner representative and class surveyors for QC inspection and testing.
Requirements:
* Degree In Naval Architecture / Marine / Mech / Electrical Eng / Class one /Two Chief Engineer
* Minimum 5 years QA/QC relevant working experience and good grasp of operations exposure
* Welding qualification preferred.
Assistant Manager (Sales and Commercial)
Responsibilities:
You will be managing a team of commercial officers in the billing and estimating functions in the Shiprepair industry. You will also focus on sales which will require you to travel and entertain.
Requirements:
* Degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture or other engineering disciplines
* Min. 5 years relevant working experience in Commercial, Costing and Project Management
* Enjoys travelling and entertaining
