User Interface Developer
Responsibilities:
- You will be part of the Application Development Team to create intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using best practices, the latest Web trends and all available tools to augment the user experience
- Transform highly complex concepts and requirements into application interfaces that are easy to use and understand.
- Able to translate business requirements into wireframes, storyboard, screen mock-ups, prototypes and test complex user interfaces
- Work with development teams to ensure a superb user experience
- Work with business analyst to develop and iterate design mockups, user stories, and other design documents
- Develop user interface design artifacts such as user scenarios, task models, wireframes, and conceptual and formal prototypes and demos that can be used in interative work sessions with customers, as marketing tools, or documentation for developers to code the application.
- Provide front-end code and graphics to be used by development.
Requirements:
- Solid experience with cross-platform, browser compliant (X)HTML and CSS/CSS2, DHTML/Javascript, Flash, AJAX, JSON, and other Web 2.0 technologies (experience with jQuery a plus)
- Passionate for building elegant, highly responsive user experience, detail oriented and great pride in every feature, font, and pixel you develop
- Extensive appreciation of the aesthetics of code, documentation, and the user interface
- The desire to learn
- 1+ years of professional experience as a User-Experience Designer
- Strong background in user interface design and development with proven ability to create functional and usable interfaces, as well as good diagramming skills and information design experience developing deliverables and documentation to communicate user experience design elements, flows, interaction and functionalities.
- Proven experience with different IA deliverables (annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, sitemaps, design patterns, etc.), and the ability to adapt them to different uses and constraints.
- Prior web application experience required, ideally within a technological environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must; you will be working closely with inter-departmental teams on a daily basis.
- Comfortable in a fast-pace environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have the desire to work on new, innovative, cutting edge technologies.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- High integrity, Good personality, and team work
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Good team player, willing to share knowledge with the team
- Ability to work independently on multiple activities, showing appropriate level of prioritization and escalation skills
