Specific Requirements:
• Minimum S1 in IT or related subject from reputable university
• Minimum 5 years experience in related field, experience in telecommunication or related industry is preferred
• Sun, HP or Unix certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Sun Micro system server hardware, HP Itanium system and HP PA-RISC system, Storage Area Network and software, and Cluster environment is a must
• Strong independent work ability
• Good written and spoken English
Job Scope:
• Formulate, deploy, configure and maintain IT infrastructure as appropriate, this include server hardware, Storage Area Network (SAN), server operating system, and application server
• Develop standards for server systems, to include standards for equipment, operating system and system security.
• Provide technical expertise regarding server system in 24x7 environment and cluster environment.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products
• Provide recommendation on vendor products, and coordinate and facilitate vendor interviews and presentations
• Provide on-call support and troubleshoot application server and hardware issues.
