Senior Production Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Generating and carrying out an annual well surveillance plan, and analysing the resulting data;
• Monitoring compliance with reservoir management and flare control guidelines;
• Well integrity management;
• Wells start up and shut down best practice;
• Designing and optimising artificial lift systems;
• Sand monitoring and control;
• Identifying and helping to implement short-term oil and gas improvement opportunities;
• Maintaining key asset and corporate databases;
• Providing production forecasts for existing wells.

Requirements:

• You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a Physical Science subject, together with at least ten years' EP experience as a Production Technologist or similar;
• You will need to be familiar with well surveillance techniques, field development planning, and the fundamentals of well design, diagnosis and optimisation;
• Additionally, understanding of surface facility operation, reservoir fluid flow, established and emerging technology, workovers, short-term production enhancement, and system de-bottlenecking will be useful;
• You should have excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills, as well as sound business awareness and experience of leading multidisciplinary projects.


Senior Reservoir Engineers

Responsibilities:

• Constructing reservoir simulation models to ensure proper management of reservoirs, including the design of well locations and preparing production profiles;
• Overseeing the implementation of approved plans for appraisal and development;
• Helping to formulate production policies and ensuring they are complied with constructing reservoir surveillance plans, including the design and implementation of well tests, and managing data from surveys and SCAL
• Adding value through the innovative application of new technologies;
• Co-ordinating reserves reporting;
• Carrying out Quality Assurance, Quality Control and peer assist initiatives.

Requirements:

• You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a Physical Science subject, together with at least ten years' EP experience as a Reservoir Engineer or similar;
• You will need to be familiar with reservoir modeling, field development planning, and reserves reporting. Experience in constructing reservoir simulation models, designing well locations, optimising well profiles, estimating production availability, and designing and implementing well tests, would all be useful;
• Analytical skills are key, particularly with respect to constructing reservoir surveillance plans and interpreting the resultant data;
• You should have excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills, as well as sound business awareness and experience of leading multidisciplinary projects.
