PT Jawa Soft is a British owned software company based in TB Simatupang, South Jakarta. We are growing fast and urgently seek two exceptional system administrators to manage our development systems and online websites.

System Administrators


At a minimum the following qualifications are required :

• Fluent in English (both oral & written).
• Familiar with UNIX and its commands/utilities; can edit files, use a shell, find users’ home directories, navigate the file system, and use i/o redirection
• Some experience with mySQL database admin (backups, setup, tuning).
• Able to support end-user IT requests, perform troubleshooting and solving software, hardware, and network related issues.
• Configuring Linux services, DNS, Qmail, Samba, OpenLDAP, Apache, Tomcat as well as general system admin such as cron, logrotate, monitoring, etc
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux scripting (bash, perl or python)

The following experience would be an strong advantage:

• Subversion .
• mySQL Replication.
• OS X.
• Zimbra.
• Java or .NET Software Development.
• Web Application Development
