Project Engineer (FPSO)
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Assist the project manager in managing day-to-day activities handling large engineering projects.
* Ensure that all works required are completed on time and carried out on safe manner and in compliance with class requirements and to the satisfaction of the client
* Prepare work specifications for yard, work schedules, and budget summary.
* Monitor works in progress, review project budget allotment, and ensure and find solutions not to exceed budget allotment.
* Prepare daily progress reports, attend quay and sea trials.
* Prepare work completion reports, project personnel assessment reports, and other pertinent documents.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 7 years of working experience handling FPSO or FSO projects being involved in both technical and commercial aspects.
* Good experience in major oil and gas projects and knowledge in fabrication of offshore jackets and offshore pipelines or FPSO conversion projects.
* Experience in quality assurance and project management in the offshore industry·
* Can communicate efficiently in written and verbal English; capable of writing work procedures and reports.
* Must be willing to be assigned overseas occasionally.
