Staff/Senior Process Engineer
(Penang)

Responsibilities:

* Leads manufacturing and process area improvement projects including the direction of project teams to support continuous process improvements such as Six Sigma, Lead Free implementation, DOE, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Design, layout and implements new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
* Suggest change in working condition and use of equipment to increase effiency of department.
* To acquire new model setting conditions; process and equipment specifications, during PP running.
* Analyze and resolve work problems, by reviewing yield data; Process Control Chart.
* Guides team members in the development of quality planning documentation for internal and external use, including process flow, control plan, PPAP, FAP, PFMEA, DFMEA.
* Leads NPI and evaluation current process and working to develop and implement / improvement on an on-going basic to ensure optimal efficiency and quality. Technical assignments involving improving the manufacturability and maintaining timely product flow.
* Control and support for manufacturing processes. Primary areas will be SMT, box build and related operations with scope to expand including chemical process areas such as wave solder and aqueous cleaning.
* Validate and test the manufacturing process’ effectiveness and improvements through the use of normal engineering techniques, failure analysis, and defect analysis, design of experiments, statistical analysis, effective corrective actions, and validation.
* Demonstrate method and train workers in sequence of processing task and operation during initial setup (new model/process).

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Min 4 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
* Candidate with working experience in fast move SMT/PCBA environment will be advantage.
* Familiar with QC 7 tools and FMEA problem solving tools.
* Equip with Engineering skill – DFM, FMCA, DOE, SPC, Lead Free implementation
* Possess strong leadership, organizing and analytical ability.
* Excellent written and verbal in both English and Mandarin.
* Candidate covering Asia Region & provide engineering support to the factory and 50% traveling between Asia country.
