We represent a leading financial institution that is highly regarded in the Australian debt markets. Their dynamic financial markets risk management team is responsible for the analysis and measurement of a sizeable and complex balance sheet through the use of the latest risk analysis methodologies and frameworks. We are now looking to augment the team with a talented treasury risk analyst.
This position will play an essential part in the daily operation of the risk measurement team by providing analysis and reporting support for the treasury activities including interest rate and derivative investment products. By providing this support to the Senior Quantitative Analysts you will assist in the operation of a number of risk models that validate risk statistics and identify exposures. Key to your success in this position will be your numerical alacrity, commitment to accuracy and the ability to communicate with both your team and the front office.
To be considered for this position you will hold a tertiary degree in Commerce / Finance or Science. Ideally, you will have gained some analytical experience in treasury markets from an Investment Banking, Funds Management, Stockbroking or Corporate environment. Strong Excel knowledge is essential, with experience using Visual Basic seen as an advantage.
