Oxfam GB is an international NGO working in over 80 countries to address poverty and suffering through development, humanitarian intervention and advocacy work. With some 255,000 lives lost to natural disasters and conflict over the last three years, along with 1.4 million people displaced from their homes, the challenges facing Indonesia are considerable. Right now, we’re looking for two dynamic individuals to help bring stability and lasting change to the people of Indonesia.
Finance Manager, Indonesia (Makassar)
We need the most reliable business support to cope with the scale of our projects in Indonesia. And we’ll look to you for support in our financial services team to strengthen the Area Office Programme in Makassar. You?ll be managing a team of finance professionals, managing finance records and preparing the annual budget, while giving financial training to staff and partners. You’ll build the highest levels of quality with full commitment to maintaining accounts and records in line with the organisations requirements. You’ll also maintain harmonious working relations with a range of projects and give valuable advice and feedback to the programme and projects.
With excellent management skills and knowledge of financial audit procedures, you’ll be ready to help our Indonesia programme from the outset. It’s essential you have a degree or diploma level certification in finance, along with extensive work knowledge in the development sector and training. Experience in a finance management position is just as important, as is fluency in both English and Bahasa and a mentoring background. Computer skills are essential.
